Start with access

Make sure gates, driveways, walkways, and the work area can be reached. Mention locked areas, steep approaches, pets, tenants, or scheduling constraints when requesting the estimate.

Identify movable items

Furniture, grills, planters, decorations, toys, and vehicles can affect access. CK will confirm project-specific preparation, but showing these items in estimate photos helps define the work before arrival.

Point out sensitive or unusual areas

Tell CK about damaged siding, loose materials, active leaks, prior coatings, electrical concerns, delicate landscaping, or a surface that has already been treated. The more context CK has, the more useful the first response can be.

Confirm water and timing

The CK worksheet asks about outdoor water access and preferred timing. Commercial properties should also note operating hours and areas that must remain open.

Take useful photos

Send one photo that establishes the whole area, then closer photos of the buildup or stain. Photos are especially helpful for roofs, long fence lines, multiple concrete areas, and access that may not be obvious from the street.
